- Increase confidence – exercises and activities to create self-assurance.
- Etiquette and Social Graces – fine dining and socialization skills.
- Maintain Strong Family Connections – build on family history and connections.
- Mentor – training our teens to become positive role models for younger girls and within the community.
- Practice public speaking – practice formal introductions of guest speakers and learning/delivering positive conversation.
- Career Exploration – introduce the girls to an eclectic range of career opportunities.
- Money Management – training for counting, saving and managing money through workshops, Treasurer job position, and bake sales.
- Create Library Books of Interest – coordinate and discuss books of interest through monthly book clubs, book swaps and Read-a-thons.
- Build Long-Lasting Friendships – creating a warm, nurturing environment for girls to bond for many years.
- Conduct a Business Meeting – Training to conduct a formal Business Meeting each month. ALL girls have a job within the group (ex. – President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Fundraiser Chair, Library Chair, Field Trip Chair, Hospitality Chair).
- Entrepreneurship – teaching girls to be their own boss through hands-on experience, field trips, and guest speakers.
- Community Service Projects – monthly community service projects with local Food Banks, nursing homes, animal shelters, etc. (every member receives a Community Service certificate at the end of each year)
Healthy/Active Lifestyles – introduce girls to various lifestyles of eating, cooking and activities.
